Hell yeah! The Netherlands is well known for a few things: bikes, canals, weed, prostitution, and.... Yes, you guessed it! TULIPS!
From the end of March and until the first week of May, many areas in the countryside get in full bloom of these beautiful flowers. It is a wonderful show, one of it's own! Rows and rows of colorful tulips that seems to never end. It truly feels like a dream.
Since 2018, I offer the possibility to have an unforgettable experience: a Tulip fields photoshoot in Amsterdam!
Bring home the memories of frolicking in the fields, a dream come true.

Before we begin
I would like to mention that it is strictly prohibited to enter the tulip and tulip fields without permission. The fields are private properties that belong to farmers who make their living out of this. As a consequence of social media and the growing popularity of these amazing views, the visitors to the fields has increased notoriously, and due to the misinformation (and sometimes the lack of respect) people just jump over fences, step on the tulips and destroy the field, just to have a photo to put on Instagram… The bulbs can get diseases that costs the farmers millions of euros in loss. We don’t want to ruin somebody’s livelihood, right? Great! Then all we have to do is follow some basic instructions and we are good
The last few years, I had the pleasure to photograph a handful of lovely people in the fields. Thanks to this, I was able to get in touch with some farmers and ask for permission to enter the fields and take the photos that you can see. This year is all about the same!
As soon as our session is confirmed, I will give you all the information you need to know in order to have a successful photoshoot and one of the best experiences you can have in the Netherlands!

What can we expect?

Our aim here is to create a unique experience for you in the tulip fields of Amsterdam, where we will capture some beautiful moments, unposed, in a documentary style, where everything will be focused on your experience and enjoying the tulip fields.
In which tulip fields will we shoot?
We will be shooting somewhere up north of Amsterdam, as the tulip fields there are wider and we'll have more chances to see a wider diversity of colors!
But we will keep you posted closer to the date of our shooting with all the details.
When exactly is it happening?

It's unpredictable, but usually, the tulip fields bloom around mid April and lasts until the first week of May. We have plenty of locations we have worked at in the past, so we guarantee we will be able to shoot on the tulip fields with the farmers permission!

Depending on where the fields are most beautiful, we will shoot at a location or another. We mostly shoot in the North to avoid crowds.
Most cities and towns in The Netherlands are pretty well connected between each other, so you can always get there by public transportation.
Another option is by Taxi or your own car.

The spots for tulip fields photoshoots fill out really fast, so we advice to do so at least 5-6 months in advance. At the same time, everything is really unpredictable so we always advice to have certain flexibility in your dates in case we need to reschedule because of weather or any other reason.
